FAQ

Box Truck Drivers — Questions We Hear the Most

We know box truck drivers are tired of mixed information and broken promises. Here are straight answers to the most common questions before you apply.

What kind of lanes do you run?
We run nationwide freight with a strong focus on the Midwest — especially Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Michigan. Routes are planned to keep you loaded, not sitting, and we discuss typical lanes with you before you start.
How is pay structured?
We pay per mile on all miles driven with weekly settlements. No games with “free” or unpaid miles — if you’re moving for us, it’s on the clock. Details about your rate are discussed one-on-one during the hiring process.
Is this a dispatch service or a trucking company?
We are a trucking company, not a random dispatch outfit. You drive under our operation, our customers and our safety standards. That means real support, real accountability and someone who actually stands behind the truck you’re in.
What about fuel, load access and support on the road?
Drivers and owners get access to a fuel card and a controlled load board — no one is just “shopping” your truck around. You have dispatch and office support when you need it, and we work together to keep you moving and profitable.
How long am I on the road and when can I go home?
Standard expectation is about two weeks on the road, then home time is scheduled based on your location and planning. We don’t promise “home daily” on OTR runs — we’d rather be honest about the schedule from day one.
Do you force loads on drivers?
No. We don’t believe in forcing bad loads on drivers. We’ll offer you options, explain the numbers, and make decisions together. Long-term cooperation only works when both sides feel the load makes sense.
